ABOUT

I’m a first-time mom, a doctor and—just like you—I’m tired.

Hi, I’m Dee.

If you’re looking for a “perfect” parenting blog with a spotless white nursery and a mom who has it all figured out, you might be in the wrong place. But if you’re looking for a friend who understands the science of a baby’s brain and the reality of a 3:00 AM breakdown, I’m so glad you’re here.

The Science Meets the Struggle

By day (and often by night), I am a Medical Officer. My background is in medicine, which means I spent years studying development, health, and how the human body works. But when I became a first-time mom, I realized that all the textbooks in the world couldn’t prepare me for the emotional “trenches” of motherhood.

I found myself overtired and feeling like I was struggling in total isolation. I know what it’s like to feel lonely even when you’re never actually alone. I know the weight of trying to be a “good” provider while your heart is breaking because you don’t have enough time for your family—or yourself.

Why SincerelyDee.com Exists

I started this blog because I needed a bridge. I wanted to create a space that combines evidence-based medical knowledge with the raw, unfiltered truth of being a mother.

Most parenting sites feel vague or overly emotional. Others feel cold and clinical. I’m here to give you the middle ground:

• The “Why”: Science-backed explanations for baby milestones and pregnancy health.

• The “How”: Practical, low-stimulation strategies to make your home a calm sanctuary (because our lives are chaotic enough).

• The “Real”: Honest conversations about maternal mental health, loneliness, and the identity shift that happens when you become “Mom.”

Why I’m Writing for You

Though I’m based in Malaysia, the “Motherhood Language” is universal. Whether you’re in a busy city in the US or a quiet town halfway across the world, we all want the same thing: to raise healthy, happy babies without losing ourselves in the process.

I’m on a mission to turn my “overtired” nights into a resource for you. I want to help you cut through the noise of the “loud and bright” toy industry and get back to what really matters—connection, development, and a little bit of peace.

I’m so glad you’re part of this community. We aren’t meant to do this alone.
